We are very excited to present our second artist collaboration with Celeste. The process of creating these series of curtain panels of long hours and beautiful conversations between the artist, Andrea (the brand's Chief designer), Maria Fernanda and Gabriel (Celeste duo).

 

About Celeste
Celeste is an artist duo comprised by María Fernanda Camarena (Guadalajara, 1988) and Gabriel Rosas Alemán (Ciudad de México, 1983). Through the integration of diverse media and discipline in their practice, Celeste conducts a negotiation that expands concentrically in order to gradually encompass other collaborators and spectators within the workings of an intimate exchange. The exhibition space is transposed by the closeness of daily life creating transient moments of proximity and familiarity, blurring the commonplace structures that define how an artwork must be appreciated or how a museum or a gallery should be used as a space.

Every piece is signed by the artist and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Please note that hardware colors may vary from silver to brass and antique brass. We unfortunately cannot give clients the choice and variation will be chosen by artisan. 
All Ladrillo bags are carefully handmade by our artisans specialized in woodworking. Each Ladrillo, regardless of it’s wood type, is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated in its entirety. Please treat your Ladrillo with utmost care, as the wood is susceptible to scratching easily. Variations in surface, color and scratching are not viewed as defects.
Our rein straps are all entirely handmade through team work by multiple specialized artisans at a time and are made out of 100% cotton thread. This means each rein strap is unique in its own specific coloring, marking, and thread choice. All rein straps have cow-hide tongues on the sides where interchangeable straps can be attached and worn with any/all Ladrillo bags.
